My name is Rachel and here’s a little about me…

I am a dog walker based in Springwell Village. My business is new, but I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for friends for around 5yrs (1 Jack Russell, 2 Bodegueros, 2 Shih Tzu/Chihuahua’s and a Golder Retriever/Labrador Retriever). I grew up with dogs, we got a Welsh Springer Spaniel (Sam) when I was around 2 or 3 and we rescued a Yorkshire Terrier (Pepe), when I was around 6 or 7 – that’s them in the pictures below – and my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin had Golden Retrievers for as long as I can remember. As well as the two dogs, we also had 2 rabbits, Smokey and Bobtail (Bobtail was mine) and a Hamster called Ginger.

I am never happier than when I am walking or playing with a dog, visiting a friends’ cat or generally just seeing animals in the fields when I’m out and about. I have wanted to start my own business for a while and in 2022 I finally made the decision to do it.

In December 2022, I adopted a dog of my own from Spain. He’s a Bodeguero, his name is Maverick and he was just over a year old when he came to me. He has settled in really well and enjoys being out in the walks with me.

I’m fully insured, DBS checked, have a Diploma in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting, and an OFQUAL Level 3 Canine First Aid and CPR certificate. But above all else, I love dogs and I cannot wait to meet your four pawed friends!
